INTRODUCTION
Welcome to PictorShare, a service provided by PictorFrame Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the PictorShare platform. By registering an account, creating an event, or accessing the platform via a shared link or QR code, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
USER ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The platform serves two primary types of users:
Hosts (Event Creators): Individuals who purchase a plan and create an event space.
Guests (Participants): Individuals who access an event via a shared URL or QR code to view or upload media.
By using the platform (including scanning a QR code or opening an event link to upload media), Guests implicitly accept these Terms of Service. It is the sole responsibility of the Host to ensure that their Guests are aware of these Terms and comply with our Acceptable Use Policy.
ACCEPTABLE USE & ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
PictorShare is designed for celebrating events, weddings, and milestones. We operate a strict, zero-tolerance policy regarding illegal and explicit content. You agree that you will not upload, share, or promote:
Sexually explicit content, pornography, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
Content that promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, or illegal acts.
Copyright-infringing material.
Malware, viruses, or spam.
If we detect or are alerted to a breach of this policy, we will immediately and permanently delete the event without refund. Furthermore, PictorFrame Ltd is legally obligated to—and will—report illegal content (including CSAM and non-consensual imagery) to the relevant law enforcement agencies, including the National Crime Agency (NCA) and police authorities, providing IP addresses and metadata to assist in prosecution.
CONTENT OWNERSHIP & MODERATION
You retain all ownership rights to the photos, videos, and messages you upload. However, by uploading, you grant us a temporary, royalty-free licence to host, process, and display this content strictly for the purpose of operating your event gallery.
Hosts are granted moderation tools and are expected to monitor their own event galleries. Hosts have the right to delete any Guest upload at their discretion. We reserve the right to remove any content or terminate any event that violates these Terms.
PAYMENTS & BILLING
All paid plans are processed securely via our third-party payment provider, Stripe. PictorFrame Ltd does not collect or store your full credit card information. By selecting a paid tier (e.g., Plus or Premium), you agree to pay the stated fees for the event duration and storage limits outlined at checkout.
DATA EXPIRY & STORAGE
PictorShare is a temporary media-sharing platform, not a permanent cloud backup service. Your event data (including all photos, videos, and guestbook entries) will remain accessible only for the duration specified by your chosen plan (e.g., 30 days post-event).
After this period expires, all media is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our servers. Hosts are solely responsible for downloading and backing up their event media before the expiry date. We are not liable for any lost, deleted, or corrupted media.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The PictorShare platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we utilise premium global edge caching and storage networks, we do not guarantee 100% uninterrupted uptime. PictorFrame Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform, network failures, or data loss.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
